Company Description

Meet our Team:

WILLIAM T. CLARKE B.A, LL.B: William ("Bill") Clarke attended the University of Alberta for his formal legal education, taking special interest in Family Law. During this time he was employed at one of the Okanagan's largest law firms as a summer student, and then the Kelowna Court Registry as a clerk in both the Supreme and Provincial Courts. He articled with the firm that shortly thereafter was renamed "Johnson & Clarke". Since 2006, he has worked with the law firm Hattori, Shaw & Clark, which has now become Courtyard Law Offices.

TRACEY BRICE-NICOLSON B.A. (Hons.). LL.B.: Tracey was born and raised in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. She obtained both her undergraduate (Honours) and law degree from the University of Saskatchewan and moved to British Columbia in 2000. Tracey's primary area of practice is family law. In addition to seeing private clients, Tracey currently does contract work for the Ministry of the Attorney General, and has done similar work int eh past for other government agencies.

RENEE - Office Coordinator: Your pleasurable experience begins as soon as you walk through the door and meet our Receptionist and Office Co-ordinator, Renee. Always friendly and delightful, she has more than earned her reputation as the perfect "frontline" worker! Being "chief cook and bottle-washer", Renee is in charge of procedure, case-file management, client-reception, and yes, answering the telephones.

SARAH - Legal Assistant: Ms. Brice-Nicolson's trustworthy and well-traveled assistant Sarah is a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise. Sarah has the oft-sought ability to make our clients relaxed and at ease even during the most stressful-seeming times. Perhaps it has something to do with her smooth Welsh accent and positivity.

DEBBIE - Legal Assistant: Working along side Mr. Clarke as his legal assistant, Debbie has spent almost 40 years in the legal field. She will be able to answer your most complex procedural questions as well as the status of your file.
